Le 2016 French Restaurant in Hawick
We are so lucky to have many great places to eat and drink in Hawick and Le2016 is another one of the gems.
Open for over two and a half years many of their clients are returning customers. If you’re worried about the menu choice or the price – don’t be! The menu offers something unique in the town in terms of french food and it is great value – and certainly no more expensive than many other local restaurants.
So what happens when you visit? You will receive a genuine warm welcome from Adele who will be sure to make you feel welcome and attend to you and your group in a professional and humble way. Once you make your selection from the menu Chef Eric will prepare your choice of superb food which will be presented in away unique to Le2016. And as for taste – you’re in for wonderful surprise.
If you are looking for steak and a bucket of chips Le2016, probably is not for you – but if you want a real treat in terms of taste, experience and excellent value for money – then give it a try.

French restaurant Le 2016 was a regional finalist in the Scottish Thistle Awards’ regional rising star category.
Heart of Hawick is an arts and culture led regeneration project, designed to make a substantial contribution to the social, cultural and economic well-being of Hawick and the wider Borders.
The project transformed three derelict buildings in the West End of the town with the aim of creating jobs, building new sustainable facilities and encouraging visitors to the area.
The multi award-winning Tower Mill opened in 2007. Tower Mill houses a 108 seat auditorium, café bar, VisitScotland Visitor Information Centre, meeting rooms and workspaces.
Heritage Hub also opened in 2007 and is the home of the Scottish Borders archives. It is a ScotlandsPeople Centre.
Borders Textile Towerhouse
Borders Textile Towerhouse was restored and opened in 2009, creating a museum and gallery space to showcase the past and present of the region’s textile industry. It also has a gift shop stocking quality and unique items.
The Civic Space is Heart of Hawick’s open air venue. A car park when not scheduled for an event, it provides a safe and enclosed area suitable for a wide variety of activities and projects. Please visit our ‘Venue Hire’ page to find out more.
